Architectural Description: 166 Commercial Street is a 2-story, 2-bay Italianate-style dwelling; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, denticulated cornice has paired brackets and partial returns; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with wood trim; building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes 2/2 wood DHS with storms, windows are shaded by canvas awnings; the primary entrance is adjacent to a 2-story flat-roof square bay, and is sheltered by a flat-roof denticulated portico supported by square wood posts with capitals; a 2-story hipped-roof square bay is centered on the side facade; secondary entrances on both side facades are accessed by multi-pane doors with storm doors and are sheltered by flat hoods with brackets and pendants.
Historical Narrative: Property owner says: summer house originally, then year round. Converted to guest house c.1970s. Original woodwork remains in interior. Currently "Prince Albert Guest House" (2003).
