Lawrence Richmond Bequest

Lawrence Richmond Bequest
The Lawrence Richmond Bequest to the Provincetown Art Association & Museum is a collection of approximately 100 works donated in 1979. The catalog that follows has details of all the pieces and photographs of some of the more important ones along with biographical information. There is a preface by Ciriaco Cozzi, one of Larry's dearest friends who shared his vision for the museum, a foreward by Annabelle Hebert, the new director of PAAM at the time, and further remarks by Alec Wilkinson quoting Frances 'Flyer' Santos and Chaim Gross. The catalog was printed through the generosity of his brother, Howard Richmond, and loaned to the Provincetown History Project by his daughter, Lauren Richmond.
