Memoirs of Georgie Dyer Knowles - July 18, 1933 (her 90th birthday)
Memoirs of Georgie Dyer Knowles as recollected on her 90th birthday. She is the daughter of Benjamin Dyer, a seafaring man and Thankful Linnel Snow, a member of the Methodist church and a good woman. This pamphlet is from the collection of George W. Ferguson, Centerville, MA. and loaned to the Provincetown History Project for inclusion in its archive. There are recollections from her childhood of making donuts, spelling bees and kerosene lamps along with an account of her wedding day and the first time the train came into town.
