Historic District Survey information for 4 Center St
Architectural Description: This is a 2-story, 3-bay sidehall dwelling, formerly the Methodist parsonage. The mansard roof has gable dormers. Unique trim is the same or similar on all elements - includes dentiled cornice with wide frieze and paired brackets. The main entry is closed up; it is shaded by a flat hood with end brackets. Any secondary entrance is not visible from the street. Windows are replacement 1/1 DHS. Large entablatures over 1st story windows, and smaller entablatures over 2nd story windows. 2-story rear ell.
Historical Narrative: As per Josephine Del Deo (1977): "parsonage for Center Methodist Church 1860"
