Architectural Description: 12 Central Street is a 1 1/2-story, 5-bay center entry cottage with rear addition. The side gable roof has central brick chimney at the ridge and shed dormer across front facade. Corner boards and a shallow frieze frame the facade. The main entry consists of a pane and panel door with jalousie storm door; simple surround with entablature and 4-light transom; brick stoop. Fenestration includes 2/1 wood DHS with louvered shutters; 2/2 wood DHS in the shed dormer; 2-light windows in the basement. A 2-story addition is located at the rear, creating an L-shaped plan.
