Architectural Description: 558A Commercial Street is a 1-1-/2-story, 4-bay cottage; side-gable roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; two gable dormers on front roof slope; exterior brick chimney on right side facade; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with false quoins; raised foundation; fenestration includes 8/12 replacement DHS, Chicago-style windows with multi-light and 6/1 DHS, 1/1 DHS windows in gable dormers; primary entrance in center bay has an enclosed vestibule with multi-light sidelights and a hipped roof supported by pendanted brackets; open deck across part of the front facade. Rear 2-story addition is known as 558B Commercial Street; side-gable roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; interior end chimney on left side; exterior is clad in wood shingles; fenestration includes 6/6 DHS paired and triple windows; central entry is sheltered by a flat roof; porch supported by Doric columns and pilasters; flat roof dormer supports roof deck.
