Newspaper article about an excursion of 15 ladies and gentleman, in 1871, who were taken to the keeper's house by horse drawn buggy and were entertained by Mrs. Cashman, the keeper's wife, who cooked them a meal of clams and chicken. A second article about James Hinckley retiring as Light House Keeper after 25 years of service.
