Newspaper article from July 15,1976 noting that a crane stopped traffic on Commercial St. to raise a cupola to the top of the library during major renovations. A second newspaper article from March 26, 1970 by John Bell in his Alongshore column in the Provincetown Advocate mentions glass plate negatives found in the library basement
